Perhaps my favorite of all sessions, this occurred during our 1st BIG snow of the season. As beginning photographers, we strive for the moment that we "get it." My 1st class had just begun and I was learning what makes photography, photography. For the 1st time, I felt I had control over my camera. I knew what settings I needed to capture the shot I desired. In this particular shoot, I wanted to use his face as the background. Some things are just too beautiful to allow for distractions.
